This is exciting. No Cow Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip
Quick Stats for one No Cow bar: 200cal / 20g protein / 1g sugar / 3g net carb
I was putzing through CVS again yesterday, because I have an addiction to CVS, and these caught my eye. Trying brands of bars I haven’t tried before is a legit hobby of mine. This No Cow protein bar felt and looked promising. The slogan is “No Cow. No Bull. No Whey!” which is great for me considering I’m sensitive to lactose (total understatement). They contain no added sugars and are:
- Gluten Free
- Soy Free
Not that I’m vegan, but vegan products are generally healthier for us so bonus, No Cow!

The worst part about buying my No Cow bar was the timing – I had to wait until today to try it because I already had eaten a Quest cookie. This morning rolled in and I settled on the couch with a cup of Starbucks coffee and opened my mind and taste buds to what I believed would be a new go to.
With my first bite I was left a little unsure. It has the typical protein bar properties: a tiny bit chalky but it was nice and soft and had good flavor. There’s little chocolate chips in them which burst in my mouth like flavor crystals every time I bit into one.
I cleansed my palate with a sip of coffee and proceeded to bite two, then three and four. I quickly came to the conclusion that this bar is slamming.
The total carb count is 25g which is high and I’m unable to eat it on days I’m counting total carbs, so unfortunately this can not be eaten all the time. But on days like today when I count net carbs, I can totally swing it. Net carb count is 3g. Hello, beautiful.
I would 100% recommend this to others and I can’t wait to try the other flavors they have. I am a #peanutbutterhoe though, so by nature all first tastings will forever be the peanut butter varieties.
I just peeped at the website and oh, my God they have cookies too. I can tell this is going to lead to a beautiful friendship.
