Hi Bang, you beautiful beautiful being you.
Warning: Bang is extremely high in caffeine content – do not use if you have a heart condition or are sensitive to caffeine. You’ll wind up in the hospital, and we don’t want that.
Bang is another product that has been swirling around Instagram I hadn’t tried yet. I went on a major GNC haul not too long ago and in that haul was these sweet babies. One of the reps said it has a high concentration of caffeine – so I bought 3!
I feel like people are split between it being a pre workout or energy drink. With 300mg of caffeine per can (the equivalent of almost 5 Redbulls) I would say it’s a pre workout fit for the hulk.
It’s formula is a combination of:
- Amino Acids
- B Vitamins
If you’ve not heard of Creatine, it’s a chemical naturally produced in our bodies by amino acids (the foundation of protein!). It’s also naturally present in protein rich meat and fish, but we’d have to eat too much for us to get the full benefits. It’s why supplementing it is a great option.
When our muscles’ reserve of Creatine is depleted, they become tired, decreasing our energy level and power. Supplementing with Creatine prevents muscle fatigue which gives us the upper edge during workouts.
My husband and I both loved the three flavors I bought, which were Citrus Twist, Black Cherry Vanilla and Star Blast. Other flavors include:
- Blue Razz
- Lemon Drop
- Power Punch
- Sour Heads
- Cotton Candy
- and more!
With 300mg of caffeine in the can, I thought the energy would be intense but it was honestly very even and smooth. I drank it at like 10 o’clock at night because I wanted to stay up and work, and it didn’t disappoint! This is a great product and I’ll be heading back to GNC soon to buy more.
There is one downside though, and that is it is sweetened with sucralose. This is an ingredient that I avoid as much as possible, and many energy drinks are made with it, so because of that I’ll be limiting my consumption.
